Korn is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The band is notable for pioneering the nu metal genre and bringing it into the mainstream.

Untouchables debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with 434,000 copies sold during its first week, second only to Eminem's The Eminem Show. The album received positive reviews from music critics. It was certified platinum on July 11, 2002, and has sold at least 1.4 million copies in the United States.

Life Is Peachy is the second studio album by American nu metal band Korn. It was released on October 15, 1996 through both Immortal Records and Epic Records. After the release of Korn's 1994 self-titled debut album, the band asked Ross Robinson to produce and went back to Indigo Ranch to record. Life Is Peachy has fourteen tracks, excluding the hidden track after "Kill You". Korn released three singles from Life Is Peachy: "No Place to Hide", "A.D.I.D.A.S.", and "Good God". All three singles went on the UK Singles Chart. Life Is Peachy features such themes as drugs, social encounters, sex, and revenge. The album's cover art was designed by Martin Riedl and its name is credited to Korn's bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu.

Balzac is a Japanese punk rock band formed in 1992 in Kyoto. The band was founded by singer and songwriter Hirosuke Nishiyama, who has remained the only constant member of the band since its creation. Since the beginning, Balzac was highly influenced by the sound and image of the American horror punk band Misfits and, especially during the very early years, Glenn Danzig's Samhain, adopting and combining the musical and visual style of both bands to create their own. Live on the Other Side is the second live video album by American nu metal band Korn. It contains footage of the band's first US show in 2005, played at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on 29 November 2005. It is Korn's first live album as a quartet without their original guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, who departed from the band in 2005. The album also includes documentary, backstage videos, and interviews with the band. The first 70,000 copies of Live on the Other Side contained a voucher that gave opportunity to be exchanged for two tickets for the 2006 edition of the Family Values Tour. The title Live on the Other Side, at the time, suggested that the band would play most of the songs from their album See You on the Other Side, but Korn only ended up playing four.
The Family Values Tour is a rock tour headlined by Korn. Korn founded the Family Values tour in 1998 and headlined the first edition. The next two lineups, in 1999 and 2001, were topped by Limp Bizkit and Stone Temple Pilots, respectively. In 2006 they revived the tour after a 5-year hiatus. Several legal disputes ensued over injuries and even a death resulting from fights between concert-goers, but despite the negative connotation, Korn plans to continue the tour onward in 2007, with a whole new set of bands, possibly some old ones as well.
Queen of the Damned: Music from the Motion Picture is the official soundtrack for the 2002 vampire horror film Queen of the Damned, released on March 1, 2002 via Warner Music Group. It was produced by Richard Gibbs and Jonathan Davis of American nu metal band Korn. Frank Fitzpatrick and Rich Dickerson served as the music supervisors for the album.
The untitled eighth studio album by American nu metal band Korn, often known as Korn II by fans, was released on July 31, 2007, by Virgin Records. It is the band's only studio release without an official drummer, released between the departure of David Silveria in 2006 and the arrival of Ray Luzier in late 2007. Vocalist Jonathan Davis hired drummers Terry Bozzio and Brooks Wackerman as session musicians. The album was intentionally released without a title, as Davis reasoned, "Why not just let our fans call it whatever they wanna call it?" The album was certified Gold in the United States on October 30, 2007.

The album features a return to their roots. It is their first album since Life Is Peachy to be produced by Ross Robinson, as well as their first to feature drummer Ray Luzier, who was previously a fill-in member.
The Path of Totality is the tenth studio album by American nu metal band Korn. It was released on December 2, 2011 in Europe and December 6, 2011 in the US. The album was produced by various electronic music producers such as Skrillex, Noisia, Excision and various other independent producers. "Get Up!", is one of three tracks produced by Skrillex, and was released as a digital download on May 6, 2011. "Narcissistic Cannibal" was released as the second single on October 18, 2011.
The Path of Totality Tour was a concert tour in support of Korn's tenth studio album of the same name. The tour kicked off on November 3, 2011 in Boston, Massachusetts. Supporting acts for the first North American leg of the tour were Downlink, Datsik, and Dope D.O.D. Kill the Noise and Sluggo will each open certain dates of the second North American leg; Jonathan Davis' dubstep side project, JDevil, will perform on all dates. Downlink, JDevil, and The Dirty Youth are among the opening acts for the European leg.

It is the first Korn album to feature original guitarist Brian "Head" Welch since 2003's Take a Look in the Mirror.
