Killbot was an American electronic dance music trio formed in January 2012. [1] The lineup includes JDevil (Jonathan Davis of Korn), Sluggo (Nick Suddarth) and Tyler Blue. [2] Killbot's music is a fusion of dubstep, electro, drum and bass, and moombahton.

History

The band's first release, "I'll Fuck It", debuted on Spin's official website on September 28, 2012. [3] Another track, "Wrecked", was world premiered on Dubstep.net on October 8, 2012. [4] "Feel Alive" debuted on ARTISTdirect on October 22, 2012. [5] Their debut EP, Sound Surgery, was released via Dim Mak Records on October 22, 2012, peaking at number two on the iTunes dance chart within the first 24 hours of availability. [6] The "Sound Surgery" EP was named #9 on ARTISTdirect Top 10 Albums of 2012. [7]

In April 2014, the trio posted a status update that their next album is currently under production and is nearing completion. [8] The month after, they posted a comment made by Sluggo quoting; "On my way to Los Angeles to Finish the Killbot album, with iwrestledabearonce's Steven Bradley!". [9]

Before recording the album, the band was approached by Immortal/Epic Records after a performance at Huntington Beach, California. The band signed to their label because they did not want to "sign away all of their creative freedom". The band would record at Indigo Ranch Studios in Malibu, California, with producer Ross Robinson, who also produced their 1993 demo Neidermayer's Mind. The recording took place from May to June 1994. After the recordings, Korn toured with Biohazard and House of Pain.

American Tragedy Redux is the first remix album by American rap rock band Hollywood Undead. It is taking songs from the band's second studio album, American Tragedy, and remixing them. It was released on November 21, 2011, by A&M/Octone Records. The original tracks on the album were recorded following the induction of Daniel Murillo into the band in early 2010 and lasted until December. The tracks were then remixed by various DJs and musicians during the band's World War III Tour with Asking Alexandria later in 2011. The album's first single, "Levitate ", was released on October 18, 2011, with a music video being released on October 24.

Taelor Deitcher, better known by his stage name Felix Cartal, is a Canadian DJ and electronic dance music producer. He released his first EP Skeleton in 2009 once he signed with Dim Mak Records. Since then he has gone on to release four full-length albums, 2010's Popular Music, 2012's Different Faces, 2018's Next Season, and 2021's Expensive Sounds for Nice People. Cartal has toured with Wolfgang Gartner, MSTRKRFT, and Bloody Beetroots. Cartal set the trend of collaborating with unpredictable vocalists in the dance scene such as Sebastien Grainger of Death from Above 1979, Maja Ivarsson of The Sounds and Johnny Whitney of The Blood Brothers.

Vitamin D is the debut studio album by Canadian dubstep producer and artist Datsik, released on April 10, 2012. The album was co-produced by various electronic music producers such as fellow Canadian dubstep producer Downlink, Israeli psytrance and electronica production duo Infected Mushroom and American DJ Z-Trip. The first official single from the album is "Fully Blown", which was released on January 31. The second single, "Evilution", which was co-produced by Infected Mushroom and features vocals from Jonathan Davis of the nu metal band Korn, was released on March 13.

<i>When the Lights Go Out</i> (EP) 2012 EP by Havana Brown

When the Lights Go Out EP is a five-song EP by Australian DJ and recording artist Havana Brown. It was released for digital download on 17 July 2012 by Island Records Australia as Brown's first EP. The Australian version of the EP includes five new songs, while the US version includes the international remix of "We Run the Night" featuring American rapper Pitbull. The track, being Brown's debut single, written by Cassie Davis and Snob Scrilla, and produced by RedOne, was released in September 2011 and became her first US top 40 hit, reaching number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. The EP peaked at number 16 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified platinum.

The Paradigm Shift is the eleventh studio album by American nu metal band Korn. Produced by Don Gilmore, it was released by multiple labels in the United Kingdom on October 7, 2013, and in the United States the next day. It is the first Korn album to feature original guitarist Brian "Head" Welch since 2003's Take a Look in the Mirror.
