Amarghan-e Sofla (Persian : امرغان سفلي, also Romanized as Amarghān-e Soflá; also known as Amarghān, Amarghūn, ‘Amarqān, and Emerghān) [1] is a village in Kenevist Rural District, in the Central District of Mashhad County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,440, in 343 families. [2]
