Singapore American School (SAS) is a non-profit, independent, co-educational day school located in the Woodlands area of Singapore. It offers an American-based curriculum for students in preschool through high school. One of Singapore's first international schools, SAS was founded in 1956 and started with a hundred students in a colonial house. It has since developed into a school of over 4,000 students on a 36-acre campus. SAS is accredited by the US-based Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
The International School of Ouagadougou is an English-language using international school in Zogona, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, established in 1976. The school is independent and teaches students from prekindergarten to Grade 12. In 2019 to 2020 there were 180 students. The school was created to cater for students from the international community but host-country students are also accepted.

It was called the American Consulate School and began operation with 24 students. Today, it is a Pre-K through Grade 12 school governed by a seven-member school board elected by the Foundation consisting of parents of children of the school. The school is the only school in Surabaya accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. SIS graduates go on to four-year college programs in the US, Australia, Singapore or home country universities. The school staff consists of faculty and administration from eight countries. Of these staff members, 55% have advanced or graduate degrees.
