Amrit Maan is an Indian singer, songwriter and actor associated with Punjabi film and music. He rose to fame after the release of his debut, Desi Da Drum in 2015 and "Bambiha Bole" in 2020. He is also known for his debut film Channa Mereya. [1] [2] [3]

Early life

Maan was born in Goniana Mandi, Punjab, India. [4] He did his master's degree in Technology in Software Engineering from Swami Vivekananda Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ramnagar, Mohali. [5]

Career

Maan started his career in 2014 as a songwriter. His first song Jatt Fire Karda [1] [6] sung by Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, was a big hit. He wrote many songs like Yaar Jundi De. [7] After getting success as a lyricist, he released his debut song Desi Da Drum. Other notable songs of Mann include Kaali Camaro, Bamb Jatt and Peg Di Washna.

Gurmukh Singh "Garry" Sandhu, is an Indian singer, songwriter, rapper and actor known for his work in Punjabi music. Originally, he came to the United Kingdom on a study visa, and worked as a construction worker situated in the Birmingham area illegally and got deported. Whilst working, he would aspire to eventually make his songwriting into an actual career. He made his singing debut in 2010 with song "Main Ni Peenda" and acting debut with the film Romeo Ranjha (2014). He has released songs including Illegal Weapon, Yeah Baby, Banda Ban Ja, Excuses etc. He also owns his record label Fresh Media Records. In 2019, his song "Yeah Baby" was released in a bollywood film De De Pyaar De as "Hauli Hauli". He has been nominated for many awards at PTC Punjabi Music Awards. Business Today reported that Sandhu's song Illegal Weapon was one of the top YouTube music videos in India.

Arjan Dhillon is an Indian singer, rapper, and songwriter known for his work in Punjabi music. He started as a songwriter in 2017. Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh has released 13 studio albums, one extended plays, and 41 singles. In 2020, he entered the Social 50 chart by Billboard, following the release of his 11th album G.O.A.T. The album also entered the top 20 in the Canadian Albums Chart. His 12th album MoonChild Era charted at number 32 on the Canadian Albums Chart.

Sandeep Singh Sidhu, known as Sunny Malton, is a Punjabi Canadian rapper and singer.He is known only because of Legend Sidhu Moose wala. He rose to mainstream with his track 'Issa Jatt' with Sidhu Moose Wala. His song Levels with Sidhu charted at 32 on Canadian Hot 100.
