Apachita Pura Pura (Aymara and Quechua apachita the place of transit of an important pass in the principal routes of the Andes; name in the Andes for a stone cairn, a little pile of rocks built along the trail in the high mountains, Aymara pura pura Xenophyllum (or a species of it), [1] [2] [3] [4] also spelled Apacheta Pura Pura) is a mountain in the Apolobamba mountain range in Bolivia, about 5,360 metres (17,585 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, northwest of the mountain Rit'i Apachita and southeast of Chuquyu. [5] [6]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

It is located in the La Paz Department at the border of the Larecaja Province, Guanay Municipality, and the Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. It is situated southeast of the mountains Wila Lluxita and Janq'u Uyu.

Riti Apachita

Rit'i Apachita is a 5,029-metre-high (16,499 ft) mountain in the Apolobamba mountain range in Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, north-west of Pelechuco. Rit'i Apachita lies northeast of the mountain Sural (Soral) and southeast of the mountain Apachita Pura Pura.

Imilla Apachita

Imilla Apachita is a 5,184-metre-high (17,008 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pucarani Municipality. Imilla Apachita lies between the mountains Huayna Potosí in the northeast and Wila Kunka Pata in the southwest.

Waxra Apachita

Waxra Apachita is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. It is situated southwest of the mountain Wila Lluxita, north of the lake Janq'u Quta, northeast of Wila Lluxi and southeast of Janq'u Uyu. The two small lakes southwest of Waxra Apachita are Muruqu Quta (Morokho Kkota) and Ch'uxña Quta

Pisaqa

P'isaqa is a mountain east of the Apolobamba mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,640 metres (15,223 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality. P'isaqa lies north of the little town of Pelechuco, southeast of Rit'i Apachita and east of Puka Puka.
