Aurachain is a low-code platform that enables the visual development of software applications with drag-and-drop tools and configurable components that automate code generation.

The platform is built on a cloud native microservices architecture with integrated audit capabilities and hybrid app deployment options (on premise, private or public cloud).

The Aurachain platform is owned by Aurachain AG, a company headquartered in Switzerland and with local offices in Europe (United Kingdom, Romania), United States (Palo Alto, California) and the Middle East (Dubai). [1]

In 2019, Aurachain launched the 3.0 version of the platform, along with the Aurachain brand, [2] and raised $25 million in a series A round of founding. [3]

In 2020, the Aurachain platform was utilized to create a portal to support Romania's National Job Retention Scheme, [4] [5] [6] [7] by allowing employers whose operations were disrupted by COVID-19 pandemic measures to submit furlough requests online.

In 2021, CEC bank, a Romanian state-owned financial institution, used the Aurachain platform to test the use of low-code application development in the banking sector [8] [9] [10] on three operational digitalization areas: an integrated system for monitoring and maintaining the bank's ATM and POS fleet, [11] an app to allow SMEs to open and manage current accounts online, [12] and an online trade financing solutions for SME's.

In 2022, Aurachain platform is selected as Bucharest Stock Exchange technology service provider [13] for the development of a platform through which investors can participate and vote online at the General Meetings of Shareholders of companies listed on the Romania's Stock Market.

Aurachain platform is certified as meeting the criteria of the ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System. [14]
