Cinema of Turkey or Turkish cinema, or Türksineması refers to the Turkish film art and industry. It is an important part of Turkish culture, and has flourished over the years, delivering entertainment to audiences in Turkey, Turkish expatriates across Europe, Balkans & Eastern Europe, also more recently prospering in the Arab world and to a lesser extent, the rest of the world.

The Turkish Revenge Brigade, also referred as the Turkish Vengeance Brigade, is a militant Turkish nationalist organisation that has used violence against those they perceive as insulting Turkey. In the political violence of the 1970s, TİT gained notoriety during political clashes and is believed to be responsible for over 1,000 deaths during this period. After the military coup of 1980, most of its members were arrested. They were later released and utilised by the Turkish military intelligence in operations during the Kurdish-Turkish conflict.
Darüşşafaka Basketbol, commonly also known as Daçka Basketbol or simply Daçka, also known as Darüşşafaka Lassa for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball club that is based in Istanbul, Turkey. Darüşşafaka's basketball section, which was founded in 1914, is a part of Darüşşafaka Spor Kulübü multi-sport club, which was founded in 1914. The club's basketball department is their most successful section. The club plays in the Turkish Basketball Super League. Its home arena for national domestic Turkish Super League games is the Darüşşafaka Ayhan Şahenk Sports Hall, with a seating capacity of 3,500, while its home arena for European-wide games is the Volkswagen Arena Istanbul, with a seating capacity of 5,240.
Mersin İdmanyurdu Sports Club; located in Mersin, east Mediterranean coast of Turkey in 1967–68. Mersin İdmanyurdu (MİY) football team played in Turkish First Football League, the first level division for the first time in 1967–68 season. They finished tenth. In their first season they have become one of the most scorer teams. In Turkish Cup they were eliminated at second round. Before the season MİT had sent an offer to former coach of Turkish national football team Sandro Puppo. However, later Cihat Arman has signed as coach. Bayram Birinci was trainer.
