Baeksang Arts Awards South Korean film and television awards

Baeksang Arts Awards, also known as Paeksang Arts Awards, is an awards ceremony held annually by IS PLUS Corp., publisher of Ilgan Sports, since 1965. It recognizes achievements in film, television, and theater, making it the only comprehensive art award in South Korea. It was established by Chang Key-young, founder of the Hankook Ilbo newspaper, whose pen name was "Baeksang". The ceremony is usually held in the spring each year in Seoul.

The annual awards ceremony is one of South Korea’s most prestigious award shows, recognizing excellence in film, television, and theater. The ceremony was initially set for May 1, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It did not invite an audience to prevent the spread of the disease.
