Perdido Beach is a town located on the northern shore of Perdido Bay, between the mouths of Soldier Creek and Palmetto Creek in Baldwin County, Alabama, United States. In an April 2009 plebiscite, over 60% of local voters supported incorporation as a town. On June 10, 2009, Baldwin County Probate Judge Adrian Johns issued an order which incorporated the area as a town. The first municipal elections, in which the mayor and town council will be elected, were scheduled for the fall of 2009. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 581.

Foley High School is in Foley, Alabama and is part of the Baldwin County Public Schools System. Foley High School has its own American football, archery, cross-country, baseball, cheerleading, women's/men's soccer, softball, and women's/men's basketball teams. Along with this, there are also men's/women's track, men's/women's golf, men's/women's tennis, men's/women's wrestling, men's swim team, and volleyball teams. The school is well known for its marching and concert band, "The Mighty Band from Lion Land," which has won a Grammy. The band has been winning superior ratings at competitions in the United States since the 1970s and has performed at the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Chicago, the Daytona 500 race, the Fiesta Bowl parade, and many more places over its long history.

State Route 112 (SR 112) was a 30.2-mile-long (48.6 km) state highway in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Alabama. The western terminus of the highway was at an intersection with U.S. Route 31 (US 31) in Bay Minette. The eastern terminus of the highway was at the Florida state line, west of Muscogee, where the roadway continues as Escambia County Road 184 (CR 184).
