Pierre Alexandre Tuffèri, also spelt Tuffère, was a French-Greek athlete, although he was born and lived in Athens, his father was French. He competed at the 1896 Summer Olympics and the 1900 Summer Olympics for France, and the 1906 Intercalated Games for Greece.
Viktor Danilovich Saneyev was a Georgian triple jumper who competed internationally for the USSR. He won four Olympic medals – three golds and one silver (1980). Saneyev set the world record on three occasions. He was born in Sukhumi, Georgian SSR, trained in Sukhumi and Tbilisi, and died in Sydney.
Alfrederick Joyner is an American track and field coach and former athlete. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois. He is the 1984 Olympic gold medalist in the triple jump. He was also the coach and husband of the late four-time Olympic medalist Florence Griffith Joyner and is the brother of six-time Olympic medalist Jackie Joyner-Kersee.
Naoto Tajima was a Japanese athlete who competed at the 1932 and 1936 Olympics. In 1932 he finished sixth in the long jump, while in 1936 he finished third in the long jump, behind Jesse Owens and Luz Long, and won the triple jump event, setting a world record at 16.00 m. This record stood until 1951, when Adhemar da Silva improved it by one centimeter.
Levi Burnside "Lee" Casey was an American athlete who competed mainly in the triple jump. He was born in Vienna, Illinois.
Francis Cleveland Irons was an American athlete who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics and in the 1912 Summer Olympics. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa and died in Palatine, Illinois.

Adhemar Ferreira da Silva was a Brazilian triple jumper. He won two Olympic gold medals and set four world records, the last being 16.56 metres in 1955 Pan American Games. In his early career he also competed in the long jump, placing fourth at the 1951 Pan American Games. He broke world records in triple jump on five occasions during his illustrious career. To date, he remains the only track and field athlete from South America to have won two Olympic gold medals.

Fabrizio Donato is an Italian athlete competing in the triple jump and occasionally in the long jump. He is known for winning gold medals at the 2001 Mediterranean Games and the 2009 European Indoor Championships, the latter in a new championship record of 17.59 metres. He is the Italian record holder with 17.60 metres outdoor and 17.73 indoor.

Muhammad Taqi Abdul Halim is an American athlete. Halim is a graduate of Charles D'Amico High School in Albion, NY where he shattered school records in track and field. Halim was recruited by, and attended Cornell University, following strong performances as a member of Albion's varsity track team. He graduated from Cornell University in 2008, at which point he started a career as a financial analyst, while continuing to train vigorously in various track and field events. At the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games, he won a silver medal in the men's long jump event. He also broke the territory's men's triple jump record at the 2011 MSU Legacy with 16.61 metres, also his personal best. Halim competed in the Men's triple jump event at the 2012 Summer Olympics but was eliminated in the first round.
Nazim Tahir oğlu Babayev is an Azerbaijani track and field athlete who specializes in the triple jump and long jump.
Hugues Fabrice Zango is a Burkinabé athlete who specialises in the triple jump and the long jump. Pending ratification, he is the world indoor record holder in the triple jump with a jump of 18.07 m set in 2021. Zango competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and won the bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, in the triple jump event, the first ever Olympic medal for Burkina Faso. He has also competed in World Championships, two African athletics championships, a Jeux de la Francophonie, two Summer Universiades and two African Games. He became the first-ever Olympic medalist for Burkina Faso earning a bronze medal and set the African triple jump record at the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha.
Max Heß is a German track and field athlete who competes in the triple jump. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics and is the 2016 European Champion.
Muhammad Ramzan Ali is a Pakistani former athlete who competed in track and field events.
