Bank of Bahawalpur was the central bank of the State of Bahawalpur. [1] The bank became a subsidiary of the National Bank of Pakistan after the dissolution of the state in 1955. [2]

Riasti, Bhawalpuri or Choolistani is a Lahnda dialect spoken in a wide area in Pakistani Punjab on the banks of the river Sutlej and in the Cholistan Desert. Its name is derived from Riast (State) of Bahawalpur.

Nara Canal

The Nara Canal is a deepened delta channel of the Indus River in Sindh province, Pakistan. It was built as an excavated channel stemming off the left bank of the Indus River to join the course of the old Nara River. The canal runs from above the Sukkur Barrage through the districts of Khairpur, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas and Tharparkar to the Jamrao Canal. The Nara is the longest canal in Pakistan, running for about 226 mi (364 km). It has a designed capacity of 13,602 cu ft/s (385.2 m3/s), but actually discharges 14,145 cu ft/s (400.5 m3/s). About 2,000,000 acres (8,100 km2) of land are irrigated by this canal. Within the Khairpur District, the canal and its associated wetlands were made into the Nara Game Reserve in 1972.

The 2012–13 Faysal Bank T20 Cup was the ninth season of the Faysal Bank T20 Cup in Pakistan, which was held from 1 to 9 December 2012. The winning team will receive Rs 20 million as prize money and while the runners-up will receive Rs 10 million. This was also the last tournament played and was replaced with the Pakistan Super League.

The 2013 Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup was the third season of the Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup. It was played between March 26, 2013 and March 31, 2013 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. A total of 15 matches were played during the tournament.
