Career

Bappy has made his acting debut in 2013 with Bhalobasar Rong . [1] He released two films "Lover Number One" and Ajob Prem which were remakes of Indian movies. [2] In 2016 he started in Ami Tomar Hote Chai with Bidya Sinha Mim. [3] The same year he also starred in Apon Manush with Pori Moni and One Way with Bobby. [4]

Mehazabien Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi actress, model and the winner of Lux Channel I Superstar 2009. Mehazabien began her acting career after winning Lux Channel I Superstar, (2009) a Bangladeshi beauty pageant. Her success in the pageant opened doors for her acting career. Mehazabien rose to prominence after featuring in a television commercial for Banglalink, a mobile phone operator, which brought her to the limelight. She made her debut in the television drama "Tumi Thako Shindhu Pare," which was broadcast on ATN Bangla. Since then, she has starred in several popular dramas such as "Boro Chele", "Chompa House", "Buker Ba Pashe", "Alo", “Lota Audio", “Chirokal Aaj”, “ Kajoler Din Ratri”. Mehazabien is widely recognized for her versatility in acting and has received numerous awards and accolades for her performances. Her notable awards include the Meril Prothom Alo Awards - 2017, 2018, 2019,2021, CJFB Performance Award-2012, 2013, 2014, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Arifa Pervin Zaman, known by her stage name Moushumi, is a leading Bangladeshi film actress and director. Swatta is a 2017 Bangladeshi romantic tragedy film. The film directed by Hashibur Reza Kallol and produced by Sohani Hossain under the banner of Taranga Entertainment. It is a story written by Sohani Hossain and a screenplay and dialogue written by Ferdous Hassan. The film features Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan and Paoli Dam in the lead roles and Kabila, Nasreen, Rina Khan, Don and many have played supporting roles in the film.

"Tor Premete" also known songs first stanza as "Tor Premete Ondho Holam" is a National Award-winning song from the 2017 Bangladeshi romantic-drama film Swatta sung by James. The song composed by Bappa Mazumder and choreographed by Masum Babul. The lyrics of the song written by Sohani Hossain, the producer and story writer of the film, and Shakib Khan and Paoli Dam performed in the song. The song was released on Deco's YouTube channel under the banner of Qinetic Network on March 30, 2017.

Meril-Prothom Alo Award for Best Film Actress is given by Meril-Prothom Alo as part of its annual Meril-Prothom Alo Awards for Bengali films, to recognise the female actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role. The award was first given in 1999.

24th Meril Prothom Alo Awards is the 24th annual award given by Square Group and Prothom Alo jointly. The award is given for 2022's contribution to film, television and music. The award was distributed through a ceremony organized at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center Hall of Fame in Bangabandhu International Conference Center on 8 September 2023. Musician Pritam Hasan and actor Siam Ahmed hosted the program, they hosted this program for the first time.
