Bathytoma tippetti is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Borsoniidae. ^[1]

Description

The adult shell of Bathytoma tippetti typically ranges from 35 mm to 50 mm in length. The shell is elongated and turreted, with distinct spiral ridges and a pointed apex. Its surface often displays fine sculpturing, giving it a textured appearance, and the coloration varies from pale brown to darker shades, sometimes with subtle banding. The aperture is elongated, and the siphonal canal is moderately long, characteristic of the genus Bathytoma.

Distribution

This marine species occurs off the Philippines.
