Belmont Street is the debut extended play by Jess & Matt. The 6 track EP includes 5 iconic Australian covers and one original song "Sydney to Me" which they performed for the first time on the steps of the Sydney Opera House at the 2017 Australia Day Concert.
David from AuspOp gave the EP 3 out of 5 saying; "Original track "Sydney to Me" is a nice ode to a city they love" but said from there "...this is where things go downhill". [1]

Powderfinger were an Australian rock band formed in Brisbane in 1989. From 1992 until their break-up in 2010, the line-up consisted of vocalist Bernard Fanning, guitarists Darren Middleton and Ian Haug, bass guitarist John Collins and drummer Jon Coghill. The group's third studio album Internationalist peaked at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart in September 1998. They followed with four more number-one studio albums in a row: Odyssey Number Five, Vulture Street, Dream Days at the Hotel Existence and Golden Rule. Their Top Ten hit singles are "My Happiness" (2000), "(Baby I've Got You) On My Mind" (2003) and "Lost and Running" (2007). Powderfinger earned a total of eighteen ARIA Awards, making them the second-most awarded band behind Silverchair. Ten Powderfinger albums and DVDs certified multiple-platinum, with Odyssey Number Five – their most successful album – achieving eightfold platinum certification for shipment of over 560,000 units.
The Waifs are an Australian folk rock band formed in 1992 by sisters Vikki Thorn and Donna Simpson as well as Josh Cunningham. Their tour and recording band includes Ben Franz (bass), David Ross Macdonald (drums) and Tony Bourke.
28 Days are an Australian punk rock band, which formed in 1997, by mainstay members Jay Dunne as lead vocalist, guitarist Simon Hepburn, and bassist Damian Gardiner. Their second studio album Upstyledown, peaked at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart. Their singles, "Rip It Up", "Say What?" and "What's the Deal?", all reached the associated ARIA Singles Chart top 40. After declining popularity following their 2004 album, Extremist Makeover, the band released a greatest hits album 10 Years of Cheap Fame before separating later that year. They reformed in 2009 to support long time friends Bodyjar on their End is Now Tour. 28 Days have released no new material since "Unmarked Graves". Their drummer, Scott Murray, died after being struck by a car in November 2001, aged 22.
Casey Donovan is an Australian singer, songwriter, actress, theatre actress and author, best known for winning the second season of the singing competition show Australian Idol in 2004. She won the competition at age 16, becoming the series' youngest winner. In 2017, Donovan won the third series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here. Donovan also hosted the NITV music show Fusion with Casey Donovan.
The Veronicas are an Australian pop duo from Brisbane. The group was formed in 2004 by identical twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso.

Matt Finish are an Australian rock band formed in mid-1979 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Matt Moffitt (1956–2003) and drummer, composer and producer John Prior. The 1981 line-up of Moffitt, Prior, Richard Grossman on bass guitar and Jeff Clayton on rhythm guitar recorded their debut album, Short Note, which peaked at No. 14 on the Australian Kent Music Report Albums Chart. The title song, "Short Note", peaked at No. 33 on the related Singles Chart and became a standard on Australian radio stations. Grossman was later a member of Divinyls and Hoodoo Gurus. On 13 August 2003 Moffit died in his sleep, aged 46. From 2006 Prior has continued Matt Finish with various line-ups.
Sunnyboys are an Australian power pop band formed in Sydney in 1979. Fronted by singer-songwriter, guitarist Jeremy Oxley, the band "breathed some freshness and vitality into the divergent Sydney scene". Their first two albums, Sunnyboys and Individuals both appeared in the Top 30 of the Australian Kent Music Report Albums Chart.
The Potbelleez are a three-member Irish-Australian electro-house and dance music group, which formed in 2003 as a duo by DJs Dave Goode and Jonny Sonic. In 2005 they were joined by rapper Blue MC on vocals and in 2006 by iKid on vocals. In October 2007, the group issued their breakthrough single, "Don't Hold Back", which peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and, in 2011, it was certified 3× Platinum by ARIA. On 22 November 2008 their debut self-titled album was released, which reached No. 17 on the ARIA Albums Chart. On 27 May 2011 they issued a second studio album, Destination Now, which peaked at the same position. It spawned Gold and Multi Platinum-accredited singles "Hello" (2010) and "From the Music" (2011).
Kaiya Jones is a Scottish-born Australian actress best known for playing the role of Sophie Ramsay in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. She previously played Jess Cooper in the third series of The Saddle Club. Jones wrote and directed a short film called Coping, which was screened at Tropfest in 2013. In 2014, she joined the cast of Party Tricks.
Luke George Girgis, better known by his stage name, Coptic Soldier, is an Australian hip-hop artist, music manager and record label executive. He often performed with stage partner, Phatchance and later became his manager. Girgis co-founded a record label, I Forgot Sorry! in 2010 and then a management company, Be Like Children, in 2013.

Jessica Alyssa Cerro, who performs as Montaigne, is an Australian art pop singer-songwriter-musician and Twitch streamer. Her debut album, Glorious Heights, was released on 5 August 2016, which peaked at No. 4 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2016 she won Breakthrough Artist – Release for the album and was nominated for three other categories. In April 2016 she was a featured vocalist on Hilltop Hoods' track, "1955", which reached No. 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart. She was supposed to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with her song "Don't Break Me", until the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, she represented Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Technicolour", but did not qualify from the semi-final, becoming the first Australian entrant not to qualify to the final since the debut of Australia in 2015.
Married At First Sight is an Australian reality television adaptation of the Danish series of the same name. The show features a group of strangers who participate in a social experiment and are paired together by experts. Legal restrictions in Australia mean that the couples do not partake in a legally-binding marriage as prohibited by the Marriage Act 1961. Rather, contestants engage in an unofficial commitment ceremony. The series first premiered on the 18 May 2015 on the Nine Network. The show has had nine seasons between 2015 and 2022, plus a two-part reunion special which was broadcast before the 2021 season.
Australian singer and actress Jessica Mauboy has released one video album and appeared in thirty music videos, two films, and many television programs and commercials. After she became the runner-up on the fourth season of Australian Idol in 2006, Mauboy signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. In 2008, she released her debut studio album Been Waiting and six music videos for its singles were shot. Mauboy's first music video was for the album's lead single "Running Back" featuring American rapper Flo Rida. It was directed by Fin Edquist and portrayed a fictional relationship between Mauboy and Flo Rida. At the 2009 MTV Australia Awards, the video was nominated for Best Collaboration. Keir McFarlane directed the music videos for the following singles, "Burn" and the title track "Been Waiting". The music video for the fifth single "Up/Down" was directed by Sequoia and shot in Los Angeles.

"Sydney to Me" is a song performed by Australian duo Jess & Matt, released on 25 January 2017 to coincide with their performance at the Australia Day concert. The song was commissioned by Destination NSW as their new campaign tune. "Sydney to Me" is the lead and only single from the duo's extended play, Belmont Street.
