Benelux' Next Top Model, Season 2 was the second and last season of Benelux' Next Top Model which include Dutch and Flemish contestants. It premiered on September 13 and was aired until November 16, 2010. Although castings for a third season of the show were announced, the show returned as Holland's Next Top Model , the title it had prior the merge with the Belgian Topmodel version of the show.

The winner of the competition was 18-year-old Melissa Baas from IJsselstein. [1] Not only was she the second girl from the Netherlands to win the competition; the entire top three (Baas, Renée Trompert and Alix Schoonheijt) were from this country.

  1. In episode 1, the pool of 16 girls was reduced to the final 12. Each girl was handed an envelope, with only the final 11's envelopes containing train tickets.
  2. In episode 6, Aïcha, Yaële and Marjolein were called forward as the bottom three. Daphne handed the last two photos to Marjolein and Yaële, eliminating Aïcha.

Holland's Next Top Model is a Dutch reality television series, produced by Endemol, based on Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model. The series began airing in November 2006 on RTL 5, and has enjoyed a fair amount of success in the years since its inception. It has been relatively effective in its mission to find new talent, most notably with discoveries like those of cycle 4 contestant and finalist Patricia van der Vliet, cycle 5 winner Tamara Weijenberg and cycle 7 runner up Sanne De Roo.

Bastiaan van Schaik also replaced stylist Ruud van der Pijl as a mentor for the contestants.

In 2011, it was announced that the two countries would be parting ways and the Dutch version would continue under its original title. Three of the five panel members from the last cycle of Benelux' Next Top Model, including host Daphne Deckers, Bastiaan van Schaik, and Mariana Verkerk returned to the newly independent production.

Topmodel, season 1 was the first season of the reality series Topmodel hosted by Ingrid Seynhaeve. Ten contestants lived together in a luxurious apartment until the top three travelled to New York City for the rest of the season.

Benelux' Next Top Model was a Dutch-language reality television show that aired in Belgium and the Netherlands. The show was a merge between Holland's Next Top Model, and the Belgian television series Topmodel. The first season premiered in September 2009, and was hosted by Dutch writer and former model Daphne Deckers. Despite the Benelux reference in the title, the program was not broadcast in Luxembourg or Wallonia.

The sixth cycle of Holland's Next Top Model premiered on 26 August 2013 on RTL5. This was the first cycle of the series to be hosted by former model Anouk Smulders, replacing the show's previous host Daphne Deckers after three cycles. The judging panel was completely revamped as well, and featured no returning judges from any of the previous five cycles. The new vacancies on the judging panel were filled by editor-in-chief of Glamour magazine, Sabine Geurten, and fashion photographer Sharon Mor Yosef. Stylist Fred van Leer remained in place as a mentor for the contestants.

The tenth cycle of Holland's Next Top Model premiered on 4 September 2017 on RTL5. Anouk Smulders was replaced by cycle 9 judge Anna Nooshin as the show's new host. Judges Alek Bruessing and Fred van Leer did not return for the new cycle. The new panel of judges was composed of cycle 2 winner Kim Feenstra, photographer Nigel Barker and stylist JeanPaul Paula.

Like last season, the show introduces male models into the competition. The show is hosted by Topmodel Manuela Frey. The international destination is Naxos, Greece.
