Bernam River Airfield( ICAO : WMBR) is an airport located in Hulu Selangor District, Selangor, Malaysia. [2]

Bernam River Airfield (BRA) is the first private airpark in the country. The airport which covers an area of 221 acres (89 ha), was built to provide infrastructure for the general aviation (GA) industry in Malaysia. The recent increase in air traffic at the Subang Airport and the imminent closure of the Sungei Besi Air Base (WMKF) has accelerated the need for an alternative site for light aircraft to operate.

Sabak Bernam District Council is the local authority which administers Sabak Bernam District. This agency is under the purview of Selangor state government. Following the upgradation of Hulu Selangor District Council as the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council on 21 October 2021, it became the state's sole district council.

Mui'zzuddeen bin Mahyuddin, simply known as Muiz Mahyuddin, is a Malaysian politician and automotive engineer who has served as Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Hulu Bernam since August 2023. He is a member and Division Committee Member of Hulu Selangor of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and formerly Gagasan Sejahtera (GS) coalitions. He served as the Division Secretary of PAS of Hulu Selangor from 2015 to 2021.
