Bhagini Nivedita College (BNC) is one of the 85 constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. [1] [2] The college is located in Kair, near Najafgarh, New Delhi. [3]

History

The college was established in August 1993 as a 'Women's College' in the South Western part of Delhi [4] and was named after Bhagini Nivedita, a Scots-Irish social worker, author, teacher and a disciple of Swami Vivekananda, [5] [6] who dedicated her whole life for the education and welfare of women. The college was founded by the Govt. of Delhi. [7]

Courses

Bhagini Nivedita College started with B.A. (Pass) and B.A. (Hons.) Hindi in 1993, [8] and progressively added more courses later. [9] After the implementation of FYUP in 2013, honours course were added in Discipline I in commerce, history, home science, physics and political science by the college. [8]

Sri Venkateswara College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi established in 1961 in New Delhi, India. It is managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams & UGC and awards degrees under the purview of the University of Delhi. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC) is a college of the University of Delhi located in Delhi, India. It was founded in 1984 and is named after the tenth Sikh Guru. It is the second college of commerce of the University of Delhi. The college is primarily a co-educational English medium institution. In 2016 its cutoff touched as high as 97.25%. It is ranked 71st among colleges across India by National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2020.

Motilal Nehru College

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It was established in 1951, and offers courses for science, commerce and arts in India. In 2018, the highest admission cut-off was 99.66 per cent for B.Sc. (Hons) in Electronics in SGTB Khalsa College. In the humanities stream, Khalsa College had set the highest cut-off at 99 per cent for BA (Hons) in Political Science.

Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It was established on 8 February 1991 during the birth centenary year of B. R. Ambedkar. It is sponsored by central Government to cater to the needs of higher education in trans-Yamuna area of Delhi. It is a co-educational institution. The college was founded in 1967 by Delhi Sikhs Gurudwara Management Committee. At present 3737 students are enrolled in various Certificate, Diploma, undergraduate and Postgraduate courses available in the college. The college is located in the central Delhi and comes under the jurisdiction of the North Campus of University of Delhi.

Shri Ram College of Commerce Undergraduate college for commerce and economics

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Founded in 1926 by industrialist Lala Shri Ram, it is widely regarded as the most prestigious college for commerce and economics in India. SRCC was ranked the best Commerce College in India by India Today in 2020.
