Bigg Boss is an Indian Hindi-language television reality show of the Bigg Boss franchise which airs on Colors TV in India. It follows the format of the Dutch reality game show, Big Brother, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. Over 17 years, the show has rolled out seventeen seasons and three spin-off versions.

Kundra has also featured in films like Mubarakan, 1921 and Tera Kya Hoga Lovely. In 2021, he participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 15 and emerged as the 2nd runner-up.

This season was longer than its predecessor, Bigg Boss 3 and lasted for 14 weeks ending on 8 January 2011. Salman Khan joined the show for the first time as host and has subsequently hosted all the following seasons. This season became the highest-rated season with the finale TRP reaching 6.2 and the average TRP being 4.8.

It premiered on 08 August 2021 on Voot with Karan Johar as the host for the OTT version.The Grand Finale of the show took place on 18 September 2021 where Divya Agarwal emerged as the winner and Nishant Bhat emerged as the runner-up.

The grand finale aired on 28 January 2024, where Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner and Abhishek Kumar was the runner-up.This season is an average season as the show wasn't getting much TRP hence decided not to extend the show till February.
