Bigg Boss is a television reality show broadcast on Colors TV in India. It follows the Big Brother format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. Within a span of 16 years of telecast, Bigg Boss has rolled out sixteen seasons, one spin-off season and two OTT version.
Sunny Arya, known as “Tehelka Bhai,” and Abhishek Kumar were involved in a major controversy during Bigg Boss 17. On Day 47, Sunny Arya physically pushed Abhishek by grabbing his collar, which violated the show’s strict rules against violence and resulted in his immediate eviction. [54] The incident drew attention because earlier, Abhishek had shown aggressive behavior, including a physical altercation with Sunny on Day 2, for which he was warned. Later, Abhishek slapped co-contestant Samarth Jurel, leading to temporary eviction before being recalled. The events sparked debate on fair rule enforcement and contestant treatment. [55]
