His first game in the competition took place on 26 August, as he came as a 75th-minute substitute in a 3−1 away loss against former club Moreirense. On 7 January 2021, Moreira joined top-flight Portimonense SC. [12] He returned to division two in June, on a contract at C.D. Trofense. [13]
