Also, having finished 4th in the first half of 2020-21 Thai League 1, Ratchaburi Mitr Phol Football Club are qualified for the play-off stage of the 2021 AFC Champions League for the first time in the club's history, but after Jiangsu ceased operation, Ratchaburi Mitr Phol automatically qualified to the group stage instead alongside Pohang Steelers. In this season, Ratchaburi Mitr Phol participates in 4 competitions which consisted of the Thai League, FA Cup, League Cup, and AFC Champions League.

The 2021–22 season is Samut Prakan City's 3rd consecutive seasons in top flight after the owner decided to change the club's name from Pattaya United to Samut Prakan City and relocated it to Samut Prakan Province in 2018. In this season, Samut Prakan City participates in 3 competitions which consisted of the Thai League, FA Cup, and League Cup.

The 2021–22 season is Bangkok United Football Club's 13th in the new era since they took over from Bangkok University Football Club in 2009. It is the 6th season in the Thai League and the club's 11th season in the top flight of the Thai football league system since returning in the 2013 season.

The 2021-22 season is Chonburi's 16th season in the Thai League T1 since 2006. The season was supposed to start on 31 July 2021 and concluded on 21 May 2022. Then, due to the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic is still severe, FA Thailand decided to postpone the season to start on 13 August 2021 instead. However, as it stands on 23 July 2021, the COVID-19's situation is getting even worse. Therefore, FA Thailand decided to postpone the opening day for the second time to start on 3 September 2021.

The 2022–23 Thai League 1 is the 26th season of the Thai League 1, the top Thai professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1996, also known as Hilux Revo Thai League due to the sponsorship deal with Toyota Motor Thailand. A total of 16 teams will compete in the league. The season began on 12 August 2022 and is scheduled to conclude on 12 May 2023.

The 2023-24 season is Port's 7th consecutive season in Thailand's premier division, after being promoted from Thai League 2 in 2017. As Port finished 3rd in the 2022-23 Thai League 1, they qualified to the play-off round of the 2023-24 AFC Champions League. This season, Port will participate in 4 competitions which consist of the Thai League, FA Cup, League Cup, and AFC Champions League.

The 2024–25 season is BG Pathum United's fifth consecutive season in Thai League 1, following promotion in 2019.
