Bryotropha hulli is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. [1] [2] [3] It is found in the eastern Mediterranean in the Balkans (Croatia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, mainland Greece), the Aegean Islands, Crete, Cyprus, [1] [2] Turkey, Syria and Israel. [1]
The wingspan is 9–11 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from late April to early November in several generations per year. [1]
The species is named after Mr. M. Hull who offered numerous specimens of Bryotropha species, among them a large sample of this species, to the authors who describe the species. [1]
Bryotropha is a genus of the twirler moth family (Gelechiidae). Among these, it is placed in the tribe Anomologini of subfamily Gelechiinae; the tribe was formerly considered a distinct subfamily Anomologinae.
