As of the census [3] of 2000, there were 261 people, 108 households, and 77 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 201.1 people per square mile (77.6 people/km2). There were 119 housing units at an average density of 91.7 per square mile (35.4/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.72% White, 4.60% African American, 2.30% from other races, and 0.38% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.30% of the population.
There were 108 households, out of which 35.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.4% were married couples living together, 11.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.8% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
