Cangahua Formation (Ecuador)

The Cangahua Formation is a Late Pleistocene (Lujanian in the SALMA classification) geologic formation of the Pichincha Province in north-central Ecuador. ^[1]

Fossil content

The formation has provided beetle fossils of the species:

• Coprinisphaera ecuadoriensis
• Phanaeus violetae
