This species was described in 1968 by Ray Forster from male specimens collected in Otago. [1]
The male is recorded at 9.3mm in length. The carapace and legs are orange brown. The abdomen is pale yellow with a dark band dorsally. [1]
This species is only known from Otago, New Zealand. [1]
