Capillataspora corticola has been found with other fungi such as Etheirophora blepharospora , Caryosporella rhizophorae , Hydrophloeda rhizospora and Rhizophila marina on Rhizophora (Mangroves trees) in Hong Kong and the South China Sea. [4]
