Cariu is a town and an administrative district (Indonesian: kecamatan) in the Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The district is part of the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area, and covers a land area of 73.66 km2. It had a population of 46,186 at the 2010 Census [2] and 51,619 at the 2020 Census; [3] the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 54,478 - comprising 27,285 males and 27,193 females. [1] The district centre is at the town of Cariu, and the district is sub-divided into ten villages (desa), all sharing the postcode of 16840, as listed below with their areas and populations as at mid 2023. [1]
