Cartist Automobile Art Festival is an annual art festival held in Jaipur, the capital of Indian state Rajasthan. [2] It is an initiative to promote Indian culture and art along with love for vintage cars. [3] The basic idea of Cartist is to spread awareness among masses and classes regarding the importance of salvaging the epitome of royalty, vintage and classic cars. [4]
The Cartist Automobile Art Festival was founded by Himanshu Jangid, a vintage car restorer in India and founder & CEO of United Restorations. [5]
First edition of festival commenced from 2015, 18 April the World Heritage Day. Renowned artist like Raghu Rai, Himmat Shah, Johny ML, Wajid Khan, and Shakir Ali interacted with the young artists during workshop, which covered Miniature Art, basics of Photography and natural color making. The students from various schools participated for the workshops. The Art Camp was organized at SMS Convention Centre from 18 April to 21 April and after that The Art work of participants were exhibited from 22 April to 24 April at ITC Rajputana. Cartist Automobile Art Festival is the first of its kind in India; organized to encourage the youth and also to promote automobile art. [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
A week long Cartist 2016 held at Narain Niwas in Jaipur, was inaugurated by Vasundhara Raje, [11] [12] [13] Chief minister of Rajasthan, followed by special sessions and interaction with well-known artists, art exhibition and workshops. [14] [15] Three solo art exhibition took place at Rajasthan School of Arts, were inaugurated by Nirmal Nahata, Mayor of Jaipur and Johny MLa, a well known art critic. [16] [17] [18] [19]
Jagannath Pahadia was an Indian politician and a leader of the Indian National Congress party. He was the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Governor of Haryana, and Governor of Bihar. He died on 19 May 2021 from COVID-19.

He held numerous imperative Cabinet portfolios in the Government of Rajasthan, including Minister of Health, Ayurveda, Family Welfare and from 2009 onwards as the Minister of Industries.
The Rajasthan Film Festival Award ceremony is a set of awards presented annually to honour both artistic and technical excellence of artistes in Rajasthani cinema as well as in other Regional Cinema of India. The awards were instituted in 2013. The 11th award ceremony was held on 30th September 2023 at Deep Smriti Auditorium. Aftab Shivdasani and Neha Dhupia did the hosting at the award night and Lifetime Achievement Awardwas given to the Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover. Bollywood Actor Govinda attended the festival as the chief guest.

Taawdo the Sunlight is a Rajasthani film released to theaters on 31 March 2017. The film features Preeti Jhangiani, Pradeep Kabra, Omkar Das Manikpuri and Sachin Choudhary and was written and directed by Vijay Suthar. The film was screened at Rajasthan International Film Festival in January 2017 and received three awards including Best Actress for Preeti Jhangiani and Best Music for Lalit Pandit. It was also screened at Masala Chawk in association with JDA and RIFF Club on 15 July 2018.
Vasundhara Raje Aur Vikasit Rajasthan is a 2016 reference book written by Indian author and historian Vijay Nahar from Pali, Rajasthan and published by Prabhat Prakashan. The book was first given as a gift to Governor of Rajasthan before its market release.
