Ceryx is a genus of moths in the family Erebidae. It was described by Hans Daniel Johan Wallengren in 1863. [1] [2] [3]
The genus was circumscribed in 2022 such that it only contains Afro-tropical species; many former Ceryx species were transferred to the then-revalidated Agaphthora . [2] These changes are not (yet) universally adopted [3] and the list of species below does not reflect them.
