Changqing Subdistrict (simplified Chinese :长青街道; traditional Chinese :長青街道; pinyin :Chángqīng Jiēdào) is a subdistrict in Louxing Districtof Loudi City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China.

Simplified Chinese characters standardized Chinese characters developed in mainland China

Simplified Chinese characters are standardized Chinese characters prescribed in the Table of General Standard Chinese Characters for use in mainland China. Along with traditional Chinese characters, they are one of the two standard character sets of the contemporary Chinese written language. The government of the People's Republic of China in mainland China has promoted them for use in printing since the 1950s and 1960s to encourage literacy. They are officially used in the People's Republic of China and Singapore.

The modern shapes of traditional Chinese characters first appeared with the emergence of the clerical script during the Han Dynasty, and have been more or less stable since the 5th century.

Hanyu Pinyin, often abbreviated to pinyin, is the official romanization system for Standard Chinese in mainland China and to some extent in Taiwan. It is often used to teach Standard Mandarin Chinese, which is normally written using Chinese characters. The system includes four diacritics denoting tones. Pinyin without tone marks is used to spell Chinese names and words in languages written with the Latin alphabet, and also in certain computer input methods to enter Chinese characters.

Geography

Lianshui River, also known as the mother river, flows through the subdistrict. [1]

The Lianshui River, also known as Luoma River or Ganxi River, is a left-bank tributary in the middle reaches of the Xiang River in Hunan. The river rises in Pingshang Town of Xinshao County. Its main stream runs generally west to east through Xinshao, Lianyuan, Louxing, Shuangfeng, Xiangxiang, Yuhu and Xiangtan counties and joins the Xiang at Hekou of Xiangtan. The Lianshui River has a length of 224 kilometres (139 mi); its drainage basin covers an area of 7,150 square kilometres (2,760 sq mi).

Economy

The local economy is primarily based upon commerce and local industry.

The Loudi Central Hospital is situated at the subdistrict. The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Loudi is also sits in the subdistrict. [1]

Hunan University of Humanities, Science and Technology (HUHST), established in 1978, is a state-owned provincial university of higher education approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It is located in Loudi, a newly built city in central Hunan province, China.

Railway

The Luoyang–Zhanjiang Railway, from Luoyang City, Henan Province to Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province runs through the subdistrict. [1]

Luoyang is a city located in the confluence area of Luo River and Yellow River in the west of Henan province. Governed as a prefecture-level city, it borders the provincial capital of Zhengzhou to the east, Pingdingshan to the southeast, Nanyang to the south, Sanmenxia to the west, Jiyuan to the north, and Jiaozuo to the northeast. As of the final 2010 census, Luoyang had a population of 6,549,941 inhabitants with 1,857,003 people living in the built-up area made of the city's five urban districts, all of which except the Jili District are not urbanized yet.

The Shanghai–Kunming railway, more commonly known as "Hukun railway", is a west-east railway passing through the subdistrict. [1]

Three public parks are located in the town: Shima Park, Zhushan Park (株山公园) and Xiannüzhai Ecological Park (仙女寨生态公园). [1]
