The Thomas Point Shoal Light, also known as Thomas Point Shoal Light Station, is a historic lighthouse in the Chesapeake Bay on the east coast of the United States, and the most recognized lighthouse in Maryland. It is the only screw-pile lighthouse in the bay which stands at its original site. The current structure is a 1½ story hexagonal wooden cottage, equipped with a foghorn as well as the light.

It was originally an Episcopal chapel, but is now the Good Shepherd Community Ecumenical Center, used for Episcopal worship services and by other groups.

It was built about 1895, and is a Gothic Revival style rectangular frame church. It is sheathed in weatherboard and has a steeply pitched roof. It features three lancet windows and a bell tower with a pyramidal roof.

St. Peter's AME Zion Church is a historic African Methodist Episcopal church located at 615 Queen Street in New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina. It was built between 1923 and 1942, on the site of the 1914 church building which was destroyed by fire in 1922. It is a large three bay by seven bay, rectangular brick church building in the Late Gothic Revival style. It features a gabled nave flanked by two-story truncated stair towers. Also on the property is the contributing 1926 parsonage; a 2 1/2-story, frame American Craftsman style dwelling. It is known within the denomination as the "Mother Church of Zion Methodism in the South," and the oldest existing African Methodist Episcopal congregation in the South.
St. Philip's Roman Catholic Church, also known as Key Memorial Chapel, is a historic Roman Catholic chapel located at 150 E. Sharpe Street in Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina. It is considered within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte. It was built in 1898, and is a small one-story, two bay by four bay, Late Gothic Revival style brick building. It features a large, pointed arch stained glass window and a two-story tower with crenellated parapet. It was abandoned by 1976, and adaptively reused a law office.
Mount Lebanon Chapel and Cemetery, also known as Lebanon Chapel, is a historic Episcopal chapel and cemetery located on SR 1411 in Wrightsville Beach, New Hanover County, North Carolina. It was built about 1835, and is a one-story, three bay by three bay, gable-roofed, rectangular building in a vernacular Greco-Gothic. It measures 26 feet wide and 37 feet deep, and is sheathed in weatherboard. It was restored in 1974. The cemetery contains 91 burials dating from 1815 to 1964. It is the oldest known surviving church in New Hanover County.
Garysburg United Methodist Church and Cemetery, also known as Chapel Grove Church, is a historic Methodist church and cemetery located on SR 1207 in Garysburg, Northampton County, North Carolina. It was built about 1853, and is a one-story, three bay, temple-form Greek Revival style frame church. It features a projecting vestibule and a tall, graceful bell tower added in 1905. Adjacent to the church is the cemetery.
Beta Theta Pi Fraternity House, also known as the Eta chapter of Beta Theta Pi, is a historic fraternity house located at Chapel Hill, Orange County, North Carolina. It was built in 1929, and consists of a 2 1/2-story, five bay by three bay, brick main block flanked by lower 2 1/2-story, brick wings with gambrel roofs. The house is in the Southern Colonial Revival style and features a full-width, flat-roof portico with Doric order columns. The Eta Chapter was first active at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1852 to 1859, then reestablished in 1884.
