"Chase the Tear" is a single released by the band Portishead on 10 December 2009, as a download-only for Human Rights Day to raise money for Amnesty International UK. It reached number 164 in the UK charts, [1] and was later released as a limited edition 12" vinyl single on 14 November 2011, again for Amnesty UK. [2]

Portishead (band) British band

Portishead are an English band formed in 1991 in Bristol. They are often considered one of the pioneers of trip hop music. The band are named after the nearby town of the same name, eight miles west of Bristol, along the coast. Portishead consists of Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons and Adrian Utley, while sometimes citing a fourth member, Dave McDonald, an engineer on their first records.

Tears for Fears English pop/rock band

Tears for Fears are an English pop rock band formed in Bath in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. Founded after the dissolution of their first band, the mod-influenced Graduate, they were initially associated with the new wave synthesiser bands of the early 1980s but later branched out into mainstream rock and pop, which led to international chart success. The English pop rock band Tears for Fears have released six studio albums, along with numerous singles, compilations and videos. Formed in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, the duo signed to Phonogram Records in the UK and released their first single the same year. It was not until Tears for Fears' third single, "Mad World" (1982), that they scored their first hit, and their platinum-selling debut album The Hurting (1983) was a UK number one.

Destabilise 2010 single by Enter Shikari

"Destabilise" is a single by British band Enter Shikari, released as an iTunes exclusive download on 26 October 2010 and as a limited coloured 7" Vinyl on 29 November 2010 in the UK and Europe. The track was recorded in the summer of 2010 to be released as a "one off single". After recording the track, the band went on to numerous tours including Warped Tour and a tour of Australia. After Warped Tour, the band recorded the music video for the track before their Australian tour. The band performed the track at multiple festivals and UK Shows including the Reading and Leeds Festivals and at their Preston show, both of which they posted on their YouTube channel.
