China Railway Xi'an Group,officially abbreviated as CR Xi'an or CR-Xi'an,formerly,Xi'an Railway Administration is a subsidiaries company under the jurisdiction of the China Railway (formerly the Ministry of Railway). The company was founded in 2005 as a bureau and incorporated as a company in 2017. [1]

The Baoji–Chengdu railway or Baocheng railway,is a mixed single- and double-track,electrified,railroad in China between Baoji in Shaanxi province and Chengdu in Sichuan province. The Baocheng Line is the main railway connection between the northern/northwestern and southwestern China. The line has a total length of 668.2 km and passes through mostly mountainous terrain in southern Shaanxi,eastern Gansu and northern Sichuan. It opened in 1961 as the first rail outlet from Sichuan,and in 1975 became the first railway in China to be electrified. Other cities along route include Mianyang,Guangyuan,Guanghan and Lueyang.

Xi'an–Chengdu high-speed railway or Xi'an-Chengdu Passenger Dedicated Line,is a dual-track,electrified,high-speed rail line in Western China between Xi'an and Chengdu,respectively the provincial capitals of Shaanxi and Sichuan. This line,which commenced operations on 6 December 2017,runs 510 km (320 mi) through Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces and accommodates trains traveling at speeds up to 250 km/h (160 mph). Travel time between the two provincial capitals was reduced from 16 to less than three hours.

The line is 247.7 km (154 mi) long and was built from 1995 to 2001. As of June 2009,a second track is being planned for the line. Major cities and counties along route include Xi'an,Zhashui County,Zhen'an County,Xunyang County and Ankang.
The Yangpingguan–Ankang railway or Yang'an railway,is a single-track,electrified railroad in China between Yangpingguan and Ankang in southern Shaanxi Province. The line,356 km (221 mi) in length,follows the upper reaches of the Han River and was built from 1969 to 1972. Major cities and towns along route include Yangpingguan,Mian County,Hanzhong,Chenggu,Yang County,Xixiang,Shiquan,Hanyin and Ankang.

The Chongqing–Xi'an high speed railway is a planned railway line in China. It is 653 kilometres (406 mi) long and has a design speed of 350 kilometres per hour (220 mph). It will be part of the Baotou (Yinchuan)–Hainan corridor.
The 14th National Games of China (中华人民共和国第十四届运动会),commonly known as Shaanxi 2021 (陕西2021),was a multi-sports event held throughout Shaanxi from September 15 to 27,2021. It is projected that the Games will attract around 20,000 athletes who will compete in 409 events in 35 sports. This will be the first event in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
