Daisy Bertenshaw (born December 2, 1996), also known as Chinchilla (stylised in all caps), is a British singer and rapper. [1]
Born and raised in London, both her parents worked as actors. While she was at school, she played in a band with six of her friends. She enrolled in a creative artistry course at Metropolis Studios, run by the music college ACM, she graduated in 2018 with a degree in Music Industry Practice. [1]
Chinchilla independently released her debut single "Elements" in 2019, and her debut EP Awakening in 2020, receiving positive coverage with Clash's Robin Murray describing it as "remarkable introduction" and "an empowering document from the pop polymath". [2] Released on August 13, 2021 Bertenshaw's second EP Moon Maintenance for Dummies was met with positive reviews from music critics. "ASBO" magazine's Connor Fogarty wrote that "[Chinchilla] true to her eclectic, one-of-a-kind style, each track delivers a generous handful of different genre influences and bravado, ranging all the way from country to nineties R&B." Bertenshaw auditioned for the twelve series of The Voice UK , and at the blind auditions she performed "I Put a Spell on You". Judges will.i.am, Anne-Marie and Olly Murs turned around for her. She opted to join Anne-Marie. In the callbacks she competed against Lil Shakz, Ryan Barton and Nia Ekanem performing the song "Virtual Insanity" where she was eliminated.[ citation needed ]

In September 2023, Bertenshaw released her most successful single to date "Little Girl Gone". The track managed to peak at number 91 on UK's 'update' chart [4] as well as it helped her to become the first female soloist in the Billboard 's Emerging Artists chart's six-year history to debut at No. 1. [5] The track also serves as the lead single for her third extended play.[ citation needed ] On March 19, 2024, Bertenshaw released "MF Diamond". When speaking about the track's music video, Chinchilla stated "I wanted to make something inclusive without being corny or cliché. Something about elderly/older women makes me think of diamonds." [6] Her third extended play Flytrap was announced in May 2024, and subsequently released in June that year. [7]
Bertenshaw's music touches on alternative pop and R&B, but she herself described her music as "feisty-pop". [8] She also stated that "the biggest word that ties together my whole sound and project is empowerment."[ citation needed ] Bertenshaw cited Michael Jackson, Prince, Little Mix, Stefflon Don and Anne Marie as her influences. She also stated that her "biggest" influences are Beyonce, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin. [9] [10]

Marina Lambrini Diamandis, known mononymously as Marina and previously by the stage name Marina and the Diamonds, is a Welsh singer, songwriter, poet and record producer.
Nina Nesbitt is a Scottish singer and songwriter. She is best known for her UK and Scottish top 40 hit singles "Stay Out" and "Selfies". She also earned further recognition with her rendition of Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop" which was featured in an advert for the department store John Lewis.
"Last Dance" is a song by English and Albanian singer Dua Lipa from her eponymous debut studio album (2017). The song was written by Lipa, Talay Riley and its producer Stephen "Koz" Kozmeniuk. The song was released for digital download and streaming on 9 February 2016 through Dua Lipa Limited, after having premiered on BBC Radio 1 a day earlier. It is a chillwave, dance-pop and post-EDM song that features a contemporary dance-heavy production. Lipa was inspired by being tired and homesick, and lyrically, she sings about a relationship that could crash at any second.

The song was written by the two artists and Starrah, while production was handled by Madonna, Mike Dean, and Billboard. It was released by Interscope Records for digital download and streaming as the album's second single on May 10, 2019. The song has been noted as a pop, trap, and hip hop ballad inspired by Fado music, with the lyrics talking about desire and craving for someone who's running away. It was one of the first songs Madonna wrote for Madame X, but she put the work on hold when she began working with other musicians in Lisbon. When she revisited the song, Madonna came to the conclusion that a male voice was needed for inclusion and approached Swae Lee to sing with her, as she was a fan of his voice.

"&Burn" is a song by American singer Billie Eilish and American rapper Vince Staples. It was released for digital download and streaming as a single on December 15, 2017, through Darkroom and Interscope Records, and was later included on a reissue of Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me, in December of that year. Staples and Finneas O'Connell co-wrote the song, with the latter solely handling production. A hip hop-influenced track, the song is an alternate version of Eilish's single "Watch".

The song was written by Aurora with Magnus Skylstad and produced by the latter with Odd Martin Skålnes. Musically, "Runaway" is a downtempo folktronica, synth-pop, electronic, and electropop song with influences from Nordic-folk music. Its lyrics, which were inspired by the grief the singer experienced when being far from her family, express escaping reality and realising the need to return home.
Remi Francis Wolf is an American singer and songwriter from Palo Alto, California. As a senior in high school, she appeared as a contestant on American Idol in 2014. After completing her undergraduate music studies in 2018, she made her solo debut with the self-released extended play You're a Dog! in October 2019. Build a Problem is the debut studio album by the English singer-songwriter dodie. Previously, dodie released three extended plays (EPs): Intertwined (2016), You (2017), and Human (2019). She had also been releasing songs on her YouTube channel since 2011.
"Mirror" is a song by Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid from her second studio album, How to Let Go (2022). Sigrid co-wrote the song with Caroline Ailin, Emily Warren and Sylvester Sivertsen, with the latter also producing it. She came up with the song after she had ended a relationship. It was released on 26 May 2021 as the first single from the album, marking her first release since 2019. The instrumentation consists of several music instruments, such as drums, piano and synthesizers. A disco track, it touches on themes of empowerment, freedom and self-love.

Molly Ciara Burman is an English musician from Hornsey. She has released two EPs, Fool Me With Flattery and Worlds Within Worlds, and is a member of Loud LDN. Her father, Lance Burman, was a member of Chiefs of Relief.
Lucy Tun is an English musician. Born in North West London, she released her first long-play, Good Nights Bad Stories, as LCYTN in 2018, after which she took a break from making music. After being recognised on a family trip to Myanmar, she released the beat tape Bad Weather, Vol. 1 in 2019 and the three-track EP Every Thursday Night / Spotlight in 2020, both under the name LCYTN. She began releasing music under her own name in 2021, reserving LCYTN for DJ sets, and released the EP Unreal in 2023. She joined Loud LDN in 2022 and is also a member of ESEA Music, with whom she released a single in 2023.
