The Chinese Taipei women's football championship is the top level women's football league in the Republic of China. The league is organized by the Chinese Taipei Football Association.

Since 2017 he has been the assistant coach of the Chinese Taipei men's national basketball team. From 2015 to 2017 he coached the Fubon Braves in Taiwan's Super Basketball League.

Martial arts such as t'ai chi ch'uan and taekwondo are also practiced by many people. The Taipei Fubon Braves are a professional basketball team, that currently plays in the Taiwanese P. League+, since the league's foundation in 2020. From 2014 to 2019, they played in the semi-professional Super Basketball League (SBL). They have also been part of the professional ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) since the 2019–20 ABL season.

The 2008 season of the Enterprise Football League was held from January 5 to April 27, 2008. With 4 college teams also participating, the number of competing teams increased from 4 to 8. The 2007 league champion Taiwan Power Company F.C. successfully defended the title.

Xiu Zelan, also written as Hsiu Tse-Lan, was a Taiwanese architect. Xue was born in Yuanling, Hunan. During World War II she attended the Architecture Department of National Central University in Chongqing. In 1947 she entered the Taiwan Rail Bureau. She took charge of the Department of General Logistics and Engineering as an assistant engineer. Her modernist interpretations of traditional motifs gained the attention of Chiang Kai-shek, and in 1965 she took charge of Yangmingshan's Chung-Shan Building project. Designed to house state ceremonies, the Chung-Shan Building brought Xiu acclaim and the project was subsequently considered to be one of her crowning achievements and earned the popular title "Number 1 Female Architect of Taiwan". Subsequently, on April 30, 1967, Xiu was awarded the first Golden Tripod Award for Architecture. In 2015, on the 50th anniversary of the Chung-Shan Building's completion, she was presented with a certificate of gratitude from the Taiwanese government.

The Chinese Basketball Alliance was a men's professional basketball league in Taiwan that existed from 1995 to 1999. Also abbreviated as "CBA", the defunct organization based in Taiwan was distinct from the Chinese Basketball Association of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and was also not to be confused with the Continental Basketball Association of the United States. In this article, "CBA" refers to the first organization if not otherwise specified.

Hsing Wu University is a private university located in Linkou District, New Taipei, Taiwan.

Mehmet Fatih Kale is a Turkish/Taiwanese Football and Futsal coach, and known for his contributions to the development of Women's football and futsal development in Taiwan. In 2014, Kale established the first ever women's Futsal National Team for the Chinese Taipei Football Association. Kale was granted Republic of China (Taiwan) citizenship in January 2018 due to his long time contributions to the sports in the country. Kale is the first football coach from Taiwan to work as head coach of an other nation with his stints in Brunei and Laos. After a year of absence due to covid restrictions, he joined the Turkish club Gençlerbirliği to create a women's football program for the club.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Tainan TSG GhostHawks</span> Professional basketball team in Taiwan

The Tainan TSG GhostHawks are a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in Tainan City, Taiwan. They have competed in the T1 League since the 2021–22 season, and play their home games at the Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science Shao Tsung Gymnasium. The GhostHawks became one of the six teams of the inaugural T1 League season.

The 2022 P. League+ draft, the second edition of the draft, is scheduled to be held on July 28, 2022 at Taipei New Horizon.
