The COVID-19 pandemic in New Hampshire is part of an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. The first confirmed case was reported on March 2,2020. A state of emergency was declared March 13,which included a ban on gatherings of 50 or more people. A small group filed a lawsuit claiming the order infringed on their right to assemble and worship;a judge dismissed the suit. On March 26,all nonessential businesses were closed and Governor Chris Sununu advised people to only leave home for essential necessities. That stay-at-home order was extended several times before being allowed to expire on June 15. Through November 22,a total of 74 emergency orders had been issued by Sununu. Sununu lifted the mask mandate as of April 16,2021.

The White House resisted efforts to engage in contact tracing,leaving it unclear how many people were infected in total and what the origins of the spread were.
Laurel Dawson Munsell Libby is an American activist,Republican politician and interior designer from Maine. She is the representative for Maine House District 64,representing Minot and part of Auburn. Libby was a leader of the 2020 people's veto campaign opposing childhood vaccination laws in Maine and protested public health measures implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19. She was elected to the Maine House in November 2020. Libby was one of seven conservative House Members to be stripped of their committee assignments over refusal to comply with mask mandates in the State House during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Heidi Hilgartner Sampson is an American politician and anti-vaccine activist. A member of the Republican Party,she has served as a member of the Maine House of Representatives since 2016,representing the 136th district since 2022.
Tracy Quint is an American politician from Hodgdon,Maine. She is currently serving in the Maine House of Representatives from the 8th district,having first been elected in 2020 from the Republican Party.
