Chrysoprasis hypocrita is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae (longhorn beetles). [1] It was first described by the German entomologist Wilhelm Ferdinand Erichson in 1847. [2]

Chrysoprasis hypocrita is a brightly colored and metallic beetle. [3]

Distribution

Chrysoprasis hypocrita has been recorded in regions where other Chrysoprasis species have been found, such as Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Bolivia, and surrounding areas. [4] [5]
