Compsophis laphystius is a species of snake in the subfamily Pseudoxyrhophiinae of the family Pseudoxyrhophiidae. The species is endemic to Madagascar. [1] [2]
The preferred natural habitat of C. laphystius is the riparian zone of humid forest. [1]
