Crime File is a 1999 Indian Malayalam-language action crime thriller film by K. Madhu starring Suresh Gopi, Siddique and Sangita Madhavan Nair. The film is loosely based on the 1992 murder of Sister Abhaya in Kerala.
Sister Amala, a nun, is found dead in the well of the convent where she was staying. The police discover that she was murdered. Idamattom Palackal Easo Panickar and his team find out the truth behind Sr. Amala's murder. The suspects include Fr. Clement Kaliyar and the local legislator Monayi, and a hitman - Cardinal Carlos.
Things get worse when Fr. Kaliyar and one of the police officers, Ezhuthachan, are killed. Then, Easow Panickar arrests, the collector Paul Varghese, with the support of the Chief Minister. On torturing and questioning him, he arrests the MLA Monayi. Later, the hitman Cardinal Carlos is taken into custody too.
Chathurangam (transl. Chess) is a 2002 Indian Malayalam-language political action drama film directed by K. Madhu and written by Babu Janardhanan. It stars Mohanlal, Lalu Alex, Nagma and Navya Nair. The soundtrack was composed by M. G. Sreekumar and Shyam. The plot follows Attiprackal Jimmy, a politician who aspires to become an MLA with the support of minister Kora. The film was released on 20 December 2002 and was the most anticipated Christmas release. Despite the hype, the movie failed commercially. The main reason cited for the failure was the existing Narasimham (film) hangover and the audience couldn't relate to Mohanlal donning the life of a common politician. Over the years, the movie has attained a cult status and is still widely watched in television.

Lelam is a 1997 Indian Malayalam-language action drama directed by Joshiy and written by Renji Panicker. It stars Suresh Gopi and M. G. Soman with Siddique, N. F. Varghese, Nandini, Maniyanpilla Raju, Vijayakumar, Spadikam George, and Kaviyoor Renuka in supporting roles. It was also the last film of the veteran actor M.G. Soman. The story revolves around the rivalry between two liquor business groups, the Aanakkattil family and Kadayadi family. The film was dubbed in Tamil as Yelam and into Telugu as Royal Challenge. Lelam was a blockbuster at the box-office and is also among the highest grossers of the 1990s.

Radhakrishnan, while C. Rajamani provided the background score. This movie become great opening of the box office and but failure to continue.

The film was released on October 23 1995, coinciding with Diwali, where it was declared one of the highest grossing Malayalam film of all time.
