Sangita Madhavan Nair is an Indian actress, who has worked in Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada film industries, predominantly in the 1990s. She is well known of her characters in Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala and Poove Unakkaga.
The actress is best known for her role as Shyamala in Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala , which was written and directed by Sreenivasan, for which she has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress.[ citation needed ] She is also well known for her role of Nirmala Mary in actor Vijay's breakthrough film Poove Unakkaga (1996). [1]
She started her career as a child artiste in the movie Snehikkan Oru Pennu , a Malayalam movie released in 1978. Her debut film as a child artist in Tamil was En Rathathin Rathame , which is the Tamil remake of Hindi movie Mr. India . The first film she acted as a heroine was Ellame En Rasathan in 1995.
She was born as the youngest among four children, to Madhavan Nair from Kottakkal, Malappuram and mother, Padma from Kuzhalmannam, Palakkad, settled in Chennai. Her father migrated to Chennai for fruit business and the family settled there. She had her primary education from Sri Gujarati Vid Matriculation School, Chennai. [2] She has two sisters, Mallika and Charu and a brother, Nitheesh. [3] Her brother portrayed a supporting role in her unreleased film, Punniyavathi.[ citation needed ]
She married cinematographer S. Saravanan in 2000 and retired from acting after marriage. The couple have a daughter Saai Thejaswathy born in 2002. She assisted her husband when he directed his first film, Silambattam starring Silambarasan, Sana Khan and Sneha. [4] [5]

Kavya Madhavan is a former Indian actress, who appeared predominantly in Malayalam films. She made her debut in 1991 as a child artist in Pookkalam Varavayi. Her debut role as one of the lead actresses was in Lal Jose's Chandranudikkunna Dikkil in 1999, when she was in the ninth grade. Its success established her status as one of the leading actress in the Malayalam industry during the 2000s. She has acted in over 75 movies. She has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress twice, for her performances in Perumazhakkalam (2004) and Khaddama (2010).
Sreenivasan is an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, dubbing artist and producer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. Sreenivasan has starred in over 225 films. Sreenivasan wrote the screenplays of films such as Odaruthammava Aalariyam (1984), Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam (1986), Gandhinagar 2nd Street (1986), Nadodikkattu (1987), Pattanapravesham (1988), Varavelpu (1989), Thalayana Manthram (1990), Sandesam (1991), Midhunam (1993), Mazhayethum Munpe (1995), Azhakiya Ravanan (1996), Oru Maravathoor Kanavu (1998), Udayananu Tharam (2005), Katha Parayumpol (2007), and Njan Prakashan (2018) among which the latter is one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time. Shalini Ajith, formerly known as Baby Shalini, is a former Indian actress and child artist who predominantly worked in Malayalam and Tamil films.
