The Croatia national beach handball team (Croatian : Hrvatska reprezentacija u rukometu na pijesku) is the national team of Croatia. It is governed by the Croatian Handball Federation and takes part in international beach handball competitions. [1]

Contents

It was the first Croatian national team to win a gold medal at the World Games. It is four-time World champion (as of 2024). [2] It is the most successful European national team in beach handball. [3]

RK Zamet is a handball club from Rijeka, Croatia, formed in 1957. The club currently competes in the Croatian Premier Handball League and the Croatian Handball Cup. Although the club has not won any mayor trophies, it has produced four Olympic gold medalists: Valter Matošević, Alvaro Načinović, Valner Franković and Mirza Džomba. The 2025 IHF World Men's Handball Championship, will be the 29th event hosted by the International Handball Federation. It will be held in Croatia, Denmark and Norway from 14 January to 2 February 2025. This edition marks the first time the world championship is being held in three countries.

The Croatia national junior handball team is the national under-21/20 handball team of Croatia. Controlled by the Croatian Handball Federation that is an affiliate of the International Handball Federation IHF as well as a member of the European Handball Federation EHF, The team represents Croatia in international matches.

The Croatia women's national youth handball team is the U-17 women's national team of Croatia. It is governed by the Croatian Handball Federation and takes part in international handball competitions. Team's best results so far are 4th places at the European Championships in 2001 and 2023 and 8th place at the 2016 World Championship.
