Crystal Falls Township is a civil township of Iron County in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township population was 1,722. In 2020, its population declined to 1,647. [3] The city of Crystal Falls is located in the southern portion of the township, but is administratively autonomous.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 235.2 square miles (609 km2), of which 228.7 square miles (592 km2) is land and 6.4 square miles (17 km2) (2.74%) is water.
