"Curtain Falls" is a song by English boy band Blue. The song was co-written by the band and StarGate, who produced the track. Stevie Wonder is also credited as a writer due to the sampling of his 1976 song "Pastime Paradise". "Curtain Falls" was released on 8 November 2004 as the first single from Blue's first greatest hits album, Best of Blue (2004). It was the only song from the album released as an official single in the United Kingdom.

Contents

Commercially, "Curtain Falls" peaked at number two in Italy, number four in the United Kingdom, and number eight in Germany. In France, the song was re-recorded in French and re-titled "Quand le rideau tombe"; although it was released as a single there, only the English version charted.

"All Rise" was co-written and produced by Norwegian production team StarGate, who went on to produce several of Blue's biggest hits from 2001 to 2003. The song contains elements from the theme from The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix (1975), composed by Bent Fabricius-Bjerre. StarGate had previously used the sample in their production of "Not for the Dough" (1999) by Norwegian hip hop group Multicyde.

"The Last Goodbye" is built upon a flute motif and an acoustic guitar loop. Lyrically, the break-up song finds the trio thinking deeply over a relationship with their love interests from whom they parted.

Recording of "If You Come to Me" took place at Stannard's recording studio, Biffco, in Dublin, Ireland. It also became a top-ten hit in Switzerland and Wallonia, as well as a top-five hit in Hungary and Italy. A French version of the song featuring Linkup, titled "You and Me Bubblin'", was released in France and peaked at number 13.

The song also peaked at number 55 on the German Singles Chart.
