Cycloctenus westlandicus is a species of Cycloctenidae spider endemic to New Zealand. [1]
This species was described in 1964 by Ray Forster from male and female specimens. [2] It was most recently revised in 1979. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum. [1]
The male is recorded at 11.8mm in length whereas the female is 13.5mm. This species has various brown and black markings of varying darkness throughout the body. [1]
This species is only known from Westland and Fiordland in New Zealand. [1]
Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened". [3]
