The Cyprus Women's Basketball Division A is the top-tier level competition on the Cyprus basketball calendar for women. It is run and governed by the Cyprus Basketball Federation.

Contents

Format

In 2021-22 season there were six teams competing in the league. In the first phase, each club plays the others three times, which makes a total of 15 games for each club.

In the second phase, the team that finished in first place plays against the team that finished in fourth place, and the team that finishes in second place plays against the team that finished in third place. The teams that win two times (best of three) proceed to the finals.

At the finals the teams that succeeded from the second phase play against each other, with the team that has the higher position in the first phase starting in their home ground. The first team that win three times (best of five) win the championship.

AEK Larnaca FC Association football club in Cyprus

AEK Larnaca FC is a Cypriot professional football club from Larnaca, Cyprus. Their home ground as from the 2016–2017 season is the brand new AEK Arena – Georgios Karapatakis stadium with a capacity of 7,400 spectators. Nea Salamis Famagusta FC Football club

Nea Salamis Famagusta FC or Nea Salamina Famagusta FC is a professional football club based in Ammochostos, Cyprus. It has been a refugee club since the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, when Turkey occupied the northern part of the island. The club is temporarily based in Larnaca.

The 2013–14 Cypriot Cup was the 72nd edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 30 clubs entered the competition. It began on 23 October 2013 with the first round and concluded on 21 May 2014 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. APOEL won their 20th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Ermis Aradippou 2–0 in the final.

The 1955–56 Cypriot Second Division was the third season of the Cypriot second-level football league. Aris Limassol won their 2nd title.

The 1957–58 Cypriot Second Division was the fifth season of the Cypriot second-level football league. Orfeas Nicosia won their 1st title.

The Cypriot Basketball Division B is currently the second-tier level men's professional basketball competition of the Cypriot basketball league system. It is run and governed by the Cyprus Basketball Federation.
