The Dambulla Aura (DA) is a franchise cricket team that competes in 2022 Lanka Premier League. The team is based in Dambulla, Central Province, Sri Lanka. In September 2021, Dambulla Viiking changed their name to Dambulla Giants after having new owners. [2] In 2022 Dambulla team changed their name to Dambulla Aura. The team was captained by Dasun Shanaka and coached by Mickey Arthur. [3]

They were defending champions having won LPL 2020. In the final, they beat Galle Gladiators by 23 runs to win their second successive LPL title.

The SLC National Super League is a limited overs cricket tournament which was held in Sri Lanka from 24 January to 19 February 2022. The first phase of the 50-over competition was played in two venues: SSC and P. Sara Oval. It was originally scheduled to take place from 31 July to 21 August 2022 with Sri Lanka Cricket initially having promised to conduct LPL tournament targeting the August window. The ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka were scrapped due to the hosting of this tournament. However, in July 2022, the tournament was postponed due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, with the aim to play it later in 2022. The tournament was later rescheduled and held from 6 to 23 December 2022. The tournament also emphasized to promote and boost both the economy and international tourism.

The B-Love Kandy is a franchise cricket team that competed in 2023 Lanka Premier League. The team is based in Kandy, Central Province Sri Lanka. They changed their name to B-Love Kandy after changing the owners. The team was captained by Wanindu Hasaranga and coached by Mushtaq Ahmed.
