Ghanaati is an American-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. In a racing career which lasted from September 2008 and October 2009 she ran six times and won three races. After winning one minor race as a two-year-old she won the Classic 1000 Guineas at Newmarket Racecourse on her first appearance in 2009. She then won the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot and was placed in both the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood and the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket before being retired at the end of the season.
The Fugue is a British Thoroughbred racehorse who was named European Champion three-year-old filly at the Cartier Racing Awards. She won her only race as a two-year-old in 2011 before developing into one of the best fillies in Europe in the following season. She won the Musidora Stakes at York and the Nassau Stakes and was considered an unlucky loser in both the Oaks Stakes and the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf. In 2013, The Fugue won the Yorkshire Oaks before recording her biggest win in the Irish Champion Stakes. She then travelled to California to compete for a second time at the Breeders' Cup, finishing second in the Turf. As a five-year-old, she defeated a strong field to win the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot but was retired after suffering an injury in the Eclipse Stakes. She won six of her seventeen races, including four at Group One level.
Fallen For You is a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. After winning on her racecourse debut she finished second in the May Hill Stakes before finishing fifth in the Fillies' Mile. She began her three-year-old racing on synthetic tracks, winning a minor race at Kempton before returning to the turf to record her biggest win in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. She was retired from racing at the end of the year.
Islington is an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. In a racing career which lasted from August 2001 until November 2003 she won six of her fifteen races including four at Group One level. As a three-year-old she won the Musidora Stakes, and after disappointing in The Oaks, she returned to win the Nassau Stakes and the Yorkshire Oaks. At four she raced creditably against male opposition before returning to all-female competition to win a second Yorkshire Oaks and the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf. Despite racing only once in North America in 2003 she was voted American Champion Female Turf Horse at the Eclipse Awards.
Simply Perfect is a retired British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. Between June 2006 and October 2007 she ran thirteen times in four countries and won four races, two of them at Group One level. As a two-year-old she was placed in the Queen Mary Stakes and the Princess Margaret Stakes before showing improved form in autumn to win the May Hill Stakes and the Fillies' Mile. In the following season she finished third in 1000 Guineas and sixth in the Oaks, before recording her biggest success in the Falmouth Stakes. She did not win again and was retired from racing after an erratic and unexplained performance in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
Miss France is an Irish-bred, French-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. In May 2014 she won the 1000 Guineas.
Legatissimo is a British-bred Irish-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. After showing some promise as a juvenile, she showed marked improvement in the spring of 2015 and recorded her first major success in the 1000 Guineas. On her next appearance she was narrowly beaten when favourite for The Oaks. After another narrow defeat in the Pretty Polly Stakes she returned to top form to win the Nassau Stakes and the Matron Stakes
Esoterique is an Irish-bred, French-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. As a three-year-old she won the Prix Vanteaux and finished second in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches but then missed the second half of the season. At four she won the Dahlia Stakes in England and the Group One Prix Rothschild in France and in 2015 she added further Group One victories in the Prix Jacques Le Marois and the Sun Chariot Stakes.
Red Bloom is a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. In a racing career which lasted from July 2003 until October 2006 she ran nineteen times, competing in four different countries and won six times as well as being placed on seven occasions. As a juvenile she graduated from a maiden race victory to record her biggest success in the Group One Fillies' Mile. In the following year she was the beaten favourite for the 1000 Guineas but won the Strensall Stakes. She remained in training for two more seasons, winning the Pipalong Stakes and two editions of the Blandford Stakes. Apart from her wins, she reached the frame in the Coronation Stakes, Pretty Polly Stakes, Nassau Stakes and Prix Jean Romanet. At the end of her racing career she became broodmare for her owner, the Cheveley Park Stud.
Hibaayeb is a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. As a two-year-old in 2009, when trained by Clive Brittain, she was beaten in her first three races before winning the Group One Fillies' Mile at Ascot Racecourse. In the following year she entered the Godolphin stable and recorded further major victories in the Ribblesdale Stakes in England and the Yellow Ribbon Stakes in California. As a four-year-old she was based in the United States and won the Sheepshead Bay Stakes at Belmont Park.
Favourable Terms is a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. Unraced as a two-year-old, she showed very good form as a three-year-old in 2003 when she won three of her five races including the Distaff Stakes in England and the Matron Stakes in Ireland. In the following year she reached her peak with wins in the Windsor Forest Stakes and the Nassau Stakes. Her later career was compromised by back problems but she did win the Sceptre Stakes in 2005. After her retirement from racing she became a broodmare and has had some success as a dam of winners.
Timepiece is a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. In a racing career which lasted from September 2009 until September 2012 she won six of her twenty-one races and ran consistently well in top-class races over distances between one mile and ten furlongs.
Amazing Maria is an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. She showed great promise as a two-year-old when winning the Prestige Stakes but failed to win or place in the following season when she made only three appearances. After a change of training stable she returned as a four-year-old ad reached her peak in the summer of 2015. She won the Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot and then recorded Group One victories in the Falmouth Stakes and the Prix Rothschild. She remained in training in 2016 but failed to win in five races and was retired at the end of the season.
Samitar is a British-bred Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare who raced in four countries and won major races in England, Ireland and the United States. She showed good form as a juvenile in 2011, winning the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and a valuable sales race at Newmarket Racecourse as well as being placed in the May Hill Stakes and the Fillies' Mile. In the following year she recorded an upset win in the Irish 1,000 Guineas before being sent to race in North America where she won the Garden City Stakes. She remained in training as a four-year-old and won stakes races at Belmont Park and Saratoga.
Billesdon Brook was a British Thoroughbred racehorse. She was a useful and consistent juvenile in 2017, winning three races including the Prestige Stakes and being placed on four of her other five starts. In the following spring she ran fourth on her seasonal debut and then recorded a 66/1 upset win in the 1000 Guineas. She failed to win again that year but returned to form in 2019 to win the Queen Charlotte Fillies' Stakes, Oak Tree Stakes and Sun Chariot Stakes. As a five-year-old she was unable to win in six attempts but finished second in four races including the Falmouth Stakes.
Allegretto is an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare best known for her performances over extended distances. After finishing fifth on her only appearance as a two-year-old she developed into a high-class performer in the following year when she won the Lancashire Oaks. She reached her peak as a four-year-old in 2007 when she defeated male opposition to take the Henry II Stakes, Goodwood Cup and Prix Royal-Oak. Although she was less successful in 2008 she added a final major victory in the Park Hill Stakes.
Magical is an Irish Thoroughbred racehorse who excelled over middle distances and was rated in the top twenty racehorses in the world in 2018 and 2019. She showed considerable ability as a juvenile in 2017, winning the Debutante Stakes and finishing second in the Moyglare Stud Stakes as well as running fourth in both the Prix Marcel Boussac and the Fillies' Mile. In the following year she won the Kilboy Estate Stakes but did not produce her best form until autumn when she took the British Champions Fillies and Mares Stakes and was narrowly beaten in the Breeders' Cup Turf. In 2019 she won the Alleged Stakes, Mooresbridge Stakes, Tattersalls Gold Cup, Irish Champion Stakes and Champion Stakes as well as finishing second in the Prince of Wales's Stakes, Eclipse Stakes and Yorkshire Oaks. As a five-year-old she was as good as ever, winning the Pretty Polly Stakes and recording repeat victories in the Tattersalls Gold Cup and the Irish Champion Stakes as well as being placed in the International Stakes, Champion Stakes, Breeders' Cup Turf and Hong Kong Cup.
Veracious is a British Thoroughbred racehorse. She showed promise as a juvenile in 2017 when she won the second of her two starts and went on to demonstrate high class form in the following year, winning the Atalanta Stakes and running third in both the Coronation Stakes and the Nassau Stakes. As a four-year-old in 2019 she recorded her biggest success when she took the Falmouth Stakes.
Lady Bowthorpe is a retired British Thoroughbred racehorse. She showed modest ability in her early career, finishing fourth on her only start as a juvenile and winning one minor race as a three-year-old in the following year. She improved in 2020, winning two races including the Group 3 Valiant Stakes. Lady Bowthorpe was even better as a five-year-old when she won the Dahlia Stakes and finished second in the Lockinge Stakes before recording a Group 1 win in the Nassau Stakes. She was retired at the end of the season and had her first foal in January 2023.
Dreamloper is an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. She did not race until she was three-years-old when she won two minor races from five starts. In the following year she made steady improvement, winning the Group 3 Valiant Stakes and running third in the Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes. She progressed again in 2022, taking the Dahlia Stakes, the Prix d'Ispahan and Prix du Moulin de Longchamp.
