"Desire" is a song by English synthpop band Years & Years from their debut studio album, Communion (2015). It was released on 23 November 2014 as the album's third single. Written by Years & Years and Kid Harpoon, the song peaked at number 22 on the UK Singles Chart.
A music video to accompany the release of "Desire" was first released onto YouTube on 4 November 2014 at a total length of three minutes and twenty-six seconds. [1] The video features night scenes of the city of Tokyo with Olly seen writing the same word on a typewriter in a darkened room, scenes of Japanese people eating dinner, taking Paparazzi pictures, having sex, and the members recording the song in a blue foggy studio. At the end, Olly is seen in the darkened room with the typewriter with the entire room on fire.

On 24 February 2016,the band announced a re-release of "Desire" via social media. They uploaded a short video containing clips from the new video and featuring a new backing track containing female vocals. The clip ended with the words "Desire March 4th" appearing on screen. [27] On 2 March,the band announced Swedish singer Tove Lo would be featured on the new version. [28] On 3 March,the band debuted the track on Capital FM Breakfast.
At midnight on 4 March,the band released the new video via their Vevo channel on YouTube. [29]

"People Help the People" is the second single taken from Cherry Ghost's début album,Thirst for Romance. It was made available to download on 11 June 2007,and followed two weeks later on CD and 7-inch vinyl. The band played the song live on Later... with Jools Holland on 24 November 2006. Jimi Goodwin of the band Doves plays drums on the single. "People Help the People" peaked the UK Singles Chart at number 27. The song was also a hit in Italy.

"Habits (Stay High)" is a song recorded by Swedish singer Tove Lo from her debut extended play (EP),Truth Serum,and her debut studio album,Queen of the Clouds (2014). It was written by Lo with Ludvig Söderberg and Jakob Jerlström,while it was produced by the latter two under the production name the Struts. Initially,the singer self-released the song under the title "Habits" on 15 March 2013 as her second independently released single. After Lo was signed to Universal Music,the track was re-released on 6 December 2013 under the title of "Habits (Stay High)" as both the second single from Truth Serum and the lead single from Queen of the Clouds. Musically,it is a pop and electropop song which features a minimal and upbeat electronic instrumentation. Its lyrics delve into the singer's attempts to forget her previous boyfriend through substance abuse,drinking and other hedonistic practices. Consequently,some critics and Lo herself noted a contrast between the song's production and its lyrical content.
