Dhavaleshwar is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. [1] [2] It is located in the Mahalingpur taluk of Bagalkot district in Karnataka. Dhavaleshwar is located on the bank of Ghataprabha river. The river bifurcates the Belgaum and Bagalkot districts. Just on the other side of the river, there is one more village which, is also known as Dhavaleshwar. This Dhavaleshwar belongs to Gokak Taluk of Belgaum district. Many politicians promised to build a bridge between both villages, but no one has initiated. The villagers grow sugar cane, which is the source of their income.
As of 2001 [update] India census, Dhavaleshwar had a population of 5,578, with 2,818 males and 2,760 females. [1]
In the 2011 census, the population of Dhavaleshwar was reported as 7,300. [3]

Kaladgi is a panchayat village in the Bagalkot Taluk, Bagalkot District of Karnataka State and is located about 25 km by road west of the town of Bagalkot. Kaladgi is well known for its fruit gardens.
Mahalingpur or Mahalingapura in Kannada is a town of Bagalkot district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Agriculture, weaving and jaggery production are the primary industries here. In the past, town was called as Naragatti. Later renamed as Mahalingpur after the gracious appearance of Lord Shri Mahalingeshwara. People speak typical Kannada, understand English and Hindi. The town is known for its picturesque surroundings and pleasant climate.
